ORDER PROCESSING AND SHIPPING DURING COVID-19 LOCKDOWN
Most of my production process is running as normal, except that some of my suppliers are currently closed and others are running with a lower staff level and are taking longer to send out materials. I am not able to visit suppliers and gemstone vendors in person so it is taking a little longer than usual if I need to order materials in order to make your chosen jewellery.
The Goldsmiths Company Assay Office in London has been closed for the first time, so I am unable to hallmark any pieces that are new. However, I do have unfinished pieces that are already hallmarked. In addition,The Assay Office has sent out the following advice:
We are aware of how difficult this time is for you and other people in our trade and are very sorry that we have had to shut down the hallmarking service. To help our trade continue to be able to do business at this very difficult time, the Goldsmiths’ Company has worked with the British Hallmarking Council to secure an agreement that, exceptionally during the crisis, silversmiths and jewellers can sell work that has not been hallmarked, provided that they register the sale and present the items for marking when the Assay Office reopens.
In terms of delivery times once the item is ready to ship, Royal Mail services have been running more slowly than usual, but I have seen some improvement in recent days. If your item is needed urgently, it is possible to upgrade to a faster service. International shipping times are also slower and more unpredictable, so it is not possible to speculate how efficient the postal services in various countries are. Again, it is possible to upgrade to a faster courier service, and I would be happy to discuss the options with you if you get in touch. I am here to help.
If the item ordered is in stock, once payment has been processed, I will pack and ship orders received by 12 noon on the same day, unless a different processing time is stated on the individual product page. Orders received after this time will be shipped the next working day.
Please note that all the jewellery is handmade. I do not carry large volumes of stock, so if you see an item you like place your order early to avoid any delays.

Deliveries to the UK
I offer FREE postage to all addresses within the UK with Royal Mail First Class Recorded Signed For delivery. I will cover the cost of this method of shipping irrespective of parcel size. This option requires a signature upon delivery and provides electronic proof of delivery. Just choose free delivery option at checkout. This is available only to deliveries in the UK.
If you require a quicker and guaranteed delivery day, I also offer a Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm next working day service for UK addresses. By choosing this method, you can be sure your letter or package will arrive by 1pm the next day after posting and is covered to the value of £500.
Deliveries to Europe (EU and non-EU)
I offer FREE airmail delivery to Europe. This is not a tracked service. You can, however, choose to have your order shipped via Royal Mail Airsure, which provides tracking and priority handling in the UK and abroad. Airsure can be up to one day faster than Airmail (Royal Mail estimates Airmail delivery to Europe within 3 working days). Please note that you are responsible for any local taxes, customs duties and any other local charges which may apply.
